With over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Quentin joins HITsa Training and Employment to pass on this knowledge to eager students.
Once he completed his apprenticeship in commercial cookery with AHA group training, it was time to travel.
Quentin has worked in various types of eateries from five-star fine dining, local hotels, fly-in-fly-out and aged care to casual cafes.
He has also spent time “off the knives” working in food sales which took him to Queensland to run a small branch for a food service giant, and for other companies selling many types of products commonly used in the hospitality industry.
Recently Quentin has worked in aged care behind the scenes gaining and teaching skills in audits, Workplace health and safety, food safety, and alike.
During his time as a chef Quentin has helped guide and teach many apprentices on their travels to become fully qualified chefs and industry leaders not only in Adelaide but around Australia.
Recently joining the training industry Quentin has gained experience teaching international students in commercial cookery and some front of house skills, also students with many varied learning challenges.
