Certificate 3 in Cleaning Operations CPP30316

The Certificate 3 in Cleaning Operations qualification is designed for people who wish to continue to develop their skills and may already be working within the industry.
This qualification reflects the role of cleaners responsible for undertaking a range of routine and non-routine tasks according to work schedules, liaising with clients and in some cases members of the public, and operating in a range of general residential and commercial settings as well as specialist cleaning environments.
The cleaner may work alone, with or without supervision, and has responsibility for selecting, preparing and using appropriate cleaning methods for a range of cleaning situations while ensuring safe work practices.
The Certificate 3 in Cleaning Operations can be completed under a Traineeship Arrangement
A traineeship is a time spent learning a job (or vocation) under a supervisor. As a trainee, you and an employer have a formal agreement called a training contract for the length of your training. You will learn on the job (on-job) under your supervisor at your place of work, as well as self-paced or in classroom environments (off-job) at HITsa Industry Training where you will complete your nationally recognised qualification.
The Government and your employer may subsidise your off-job training component.

CPPCL03005 Confirm and apply privacy and security requirements for cleaning work
CPPCLO3035 Maintain cleaning storage areas
CPPCLO3019 Remove waste and recyclable materials
CPPCMN3006 Provide effective client service

CPPCLO3001 Maintain hard floor surfaces
CPPCLO3004 Maintain carpeted floors
CPPCLO3009 Clean glass surfaces
CPPCLO3011 Clean using environmentally sustainable work practices
CPPCLO3017 Clean wet areas
CPPCLO3018 Clean and maintain furniture and fittings
CPPCLO3040 Clean ceiling surfaces and fittings
CPPCLO3043 Clean using microfibre and chemical-free techniques
CPPCMN3007 Support leadership in the workplace

Course Details

CPP30316 Certificate 3 in Cleaning Operations

Course Duration will depend on electives selected (389 – 409 hours in total)
This training is offered through a rolling intake therefore students can commence at any time. A training plan will be developed with the student to include core and elective units prior to enrolment.
Training will be conducted at 25 Unley Road Parkside unless otherwise advised.
Training will include a mix of self-paced, theory and practical study and a number of units can be completed online.
Assessment will include a combination of both theory and practical observation.
All course materials will be provided to the student and access to the internet will be required for units of training to be completed online.
This qualification will prepare candidates for working unsupervised and for working in leadership roles, leading to greater independence in their work.
Working as a cleaner is an excellent way to work flexible hours, and to work in a wide range of environments including commercial.
