HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely
Conduct Manual Tasks Safely, provides participants with skills and knowledge to carry out manual handling tasks in a safe manner. As well as the requirements to manage and control workplace hazards and risks.
The course covers a range of WHS topics including but not limited to:
- How to prepare for manual tasks
- How to complete manual tasks safely
- How to contribute to safe work practices.
Consequently, manual handling training will equip health care workers with the ability to carry out their work within the care sector in a safe manner.
In addition, this training is suitable for new and existing health sector workers requiring accredited manual handling training. Furthermore, it is suitable for volunteers and people working as a carer within the health and community services.
