Magill is Penfolds’ spiritual home and an authentic part of the Penfolds story, it is the ultimate showcase of our heritage, culture and wines. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a casual experienced Chef De Partie to join our dedicated team in the Magill Estate Kitchen, our bistro style restaurant.

As a Chef your responsibilities would include:

  • Working with Head Chef to manage kitchen work load
  • Food preparation
  • Stock control and wastage
  • Ensure continuity of service across to ensure  ‘best practice’ expectations are meet and visitors experience is in line with brand standards
  • HACCP and safety requirements

You will demonstrate a passion for local produce and ideally a strong wine knowledge. You will also have strong planning and communication skills, and have exceptional time management with the ability to prioritize your workload. Relevant trade qualification in cooking and hospitality required. We are open 7 days therefore the position will require weekend commitments.
