About the role:
With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking the perfect candidate to join our Environmental Services customer stream with a positive, solutions focused attitude, exceptional time management skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes in requirements. Reporting directly to the Resources & Mining General Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the Resources & Mining business unit with their requirements and the small team of customer stream Administrators with some shared administrative tasks. This role is aimed at a candidate who may not be able to commit to full-time hours and would be able to work around school drop-off/ pick-up times or selected days, details will be discussed in second stage of application
This will include, but is not limited to:
- Raising once-off and progress claim invoices and monthly payments for debtors and raising purchase orders against creditors
- Facilitating human resource activities such as onboarding/offboarding R&M employees. Ensure the workers of the R&M business unit stay compliant by ensuring all tickets & qualifications are current
- Drafting internal business unit communications as directed by the GM
- Assisting with tender submissions and project file management as required
- Managing travel and accommodation bookings as needed with other Administrators
- General office administration
- Assisting projects with record keeping and project administration
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- To be a team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- High level of competency in using a range of Microsoft Office applications and Project Management platforms such as Pronto XI, Procore, Aconex and Adobe (or similar)
- Proven proficiency in managing human resources matters and handling confidential information
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
- Previous experience in the building and construction services sector is advantageous
