About the Role
We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Adelaide Office. This diverse role will allow you to work with various departments and senior leaders and see you become a pillar of support in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will gain an opportunity to broaden their skillset with exposure to the engineering industry. You will use your problem-solving and multi-tasking skills to work autonomously across organising office operations.
They key responsibilities will include:
- Greet visitors on arrival.
- Maintaining office, kitchen area, printing area and meeting/board rooms for general cleanliness and order.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to relevant staff (taking messages and emailing staff when required).
- Direct point of contact for deliveries (staff personal and business related).
- Organise couriers/express post options for outgoing mail.
- Liaise and collaborate with national administration teams.
- Management of office amenity requirements including refreshments for clients attending meetings and stocking consumables.
- Monitoring and ordering of kitchen and stationary supplies.
- General office administration support.
- Booking staff travel.
- Setting up new projects and monitoring proposal forecasting.
About You
This role would suit an Administration Assistant all-rounder who has demonstrated experience in a similar role.
To be successful in this role it is expected that you will have the following skills:
- High degree of professionalism.
- Capable of multitasking while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Capability to operate cooperatively as a team member.
- Ability to work systematically, precisely, and according to daily deadlines.
- Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Experience in construction and/or the building business is advantageous but not required.
