We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic worker to be a part of our team, working as the Administration and Warehousing Assistant.

Based in Beverley, Champion Sports offers strong sales, marketing, and distribution infrastructure with a high level of commitment to customer service and support.

Champion Sports are proud distributors of Bushnell, SuperStroke, PowaKaddy and PXG products, supplying golf courses and retail outlets Australia wide.

The ideal candidate would benefit from having a good background knowledge and interest in golf or the golf industry and a drive to learn more about our products and customers. The right candidate would be working within our head office team and would gain an understanding of other team members’ roles and their effect on our operations.

We are seeking someone with a can-do attitude, who is the right fit for our business and our team and who is an excellent communicator.

The position will be on a part-time permanent basis of 20-30 hours per fortnight.

Office hours are negotiable and will be discussed with candidates privately

Fewer full days or more short days are both options.

There will be a 6-month probation period with an hourly rate from $25 per hour paid on a fortnightly basis.

The Administration and Warehouse Assistant will be required to assist the operations of the business with regards to incoming customer orders and requests and dispatch of goods.

The tasks and responsibilities of this position are but not limited to:

  • Document control and archiving.
  • Maintain busy email inbox.
  • Inbound phone enquires.
  • Assisting customers with freight enquiries.
  • Daily Eftpos balancing.
  • Processing web orders and webstore stock maintenance.
  • Pick and pack customer orders.
  • Create consignments using the freight database.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Collecting of sundry office goods or post office collections.
  • Assist the Operations Assistant with processing customer orders.
  • Technical support assistance when required.
  • Data entry with a high degree of accuracy using MYOB Advanced.
  • Direct support for staff including account managers.
  • Assist with checking stock levels, organisation of warehouse and head office stock takes.
  • A medium level of manual labour is required for this role.

Experience in a similar role is critical while experience with MYOB Advanced is preferable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient use of a computer is essential.

The person we are seeking must be able to work in a small team or autonomously. More important, they must have a mature attitude and be able to work hard with without supervision.

Certificates in Business Administration or Warehousing and Logistics desirable but not essential.
