Bloom is looking for a full-time Baker/Pastry Chef!

The role involves working autonomously to produce consistent, high quality baked goods + pastries. Our current offering includes: milk buns, focaccia, cinnamon buns and an array of other cakes + desserts.

Roles & responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside Head and Sous chef to design offering that aligns with Bloom’s ethos
  • Prepare and execute a variety of baked goods + pastries with a focus on consistency, quality and presentation
  • Rotation of stock + waste management
  • Working with and assisting kitchen team during daily restaurant service + prep

Ideal candidate will:

  • be passionate about their craft and highly creative
  • strive for consistency and high quality
  • have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

We value high quality and creativity.

Must be willing to work mornings and minimum 1 day on the weekend.
