  • Basic knowledge of bars or gaming machines, or a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A responsible and ethical approach, especially when handling financial transactions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings/nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Competent and trustworthy cash-handling skills.
  • RSA certification (essential).
  • Gaming certificates are preferred or willing to obtain.

ABOUT THE JOB
We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a can-do attitude, exceptional service skills, and attention to detail. The role requires someone reliable and available for evenings, night shifts, and weekends. This role is initially available on a casual basis for 15+ hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General waiting and service duties, including serving food, coffee, snacks, and bartending.
  • Professional service and dispensing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Assisting with gaming machine operations, phone inquiries, and guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Providing prompt, courteous customer service.
  • Monitoring gaming areas to ensure compliance with regulations and a safe environment.
  • Assisting with cash handling, machine payouts, and general administration tasks.
  • Promoting responsible gambling and service practices, offering support when needed.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to maintain cleanliness and organization in the gaming lounge.
  • Familiarizing yourself with all food and beverage offerings, systems, and till operations.
  • Following Safe Work Procedures at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards.
  • Performing any additional duties directed by Management.
