Singh Sweetz and Fast Food, a popular restaurant specialising in authentic Indian cuisine, is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team. Our menu features a variety of Indian curries, breads, and other traditional dishes.

Position: Chef
Location: 1/127 Henley Beach Rd, Mile End SA 5031
Annual Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 [commensurate with experience]

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, including curries, breads (naan, roti, etc).
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including managing inventory, ordering ingredients, and
maintaining food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu development, introducing new and seasonal dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

To be successful in this role, you require the following:
• Relevant culinary qualifications such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Indian cuisine, with a focus on curries and breads.
• Strong understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional preparation
methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• An attention to consistent delivery of quality and well-presented food
• Fast learning ability and adaptability to change
• Reliability and punctuality
• A genuine passion to provide excellent service
• Ability to work independently and on a flexible roster
• Have Australian work rights
