Job Opportunities: Chefs – Modbury Hotel, Family-Owned Hotels in the Northern Suburbs

Are you a talented and dedicated chef looking for an exciting opportunity to work in thriving family-owned hotels? The Modbury Hotel is offering chef opportunities across our hotel in the Northern Suburbs.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A demonstrated passion and discipline for serving quality and simply delicious food
• Proven experience as a team player
• Prior experience in a la carte environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards
• Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience in prep work, deep frying, functions, grill, pan work, cold larder, and hotel bistro dining
• A high emphasis on food hygiene
• Current driver’s license
• Ability to work over a 7-day roster, including split shifts
• Reliability
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
