About the Role:

The Chef/Cook works with the Café Manager and a small team to create a menu selection for girls aged 3-18 in our Café and 12-18 in our Boarding House, as well as for staff and parents. The School Café has a reputation for offering a varied and high-quality menu and catering for special occasions.

About You 

We are looking to continue to build the team with a qualified and experienced chef who also has:

  • Proven ability working within a busy team environment
  • The ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Has a passion for fresh, local produce and for creating culturally diverse and interesting meals
  • Flexibility and is reliable and results driven
  • Great communication skills

This position is a casual position and may include some rostered weekend work. Shifts available for roster include day shifts starting at 7am and afternoon shifts finishing at 6.30pm, Monday to Sunday. The cafe is open during school terms and not school holiday periods.
