We are a private, members only Club offering a wide range of hospitality services including bar meals, fine dining, weddings, private dinners, luncheons, meeting rooms, bar facilities, and more. The Club offers high standards of hospitality service in its beautiful heritage listed building. Typically, operating Monday to Saturday, we are seeking a Chef de Partie to work full time (5 days), roster dependent on business requirements which include both lunch and dinner service.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie that can hit the ground running who must have the following:
- qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of cooking techniques and deliver food of a continuous high standard
- Exceptional knife skills
- Be able to complete given tasks in a timely manner
- Be able to work under pressure with a calm nature
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of cooking styles
- Be able to work with others and assist peers when required
- Be able to put forward menu ideas and be involved in function and seasonal menus
- Organisational flair
