We are seeking a highly motivated chef to join our team at the Coriole Restaurant at Coriole Vineyards.
Location: Coriole Vineyards Restaurant, McLaren Vale (just 45 minutes from the CBD)
Employment Type: Full-time/Part time

Our mission is to serve delicious, creative dishes which respect the seasonality of produce we source from the Estate and regional producers, while minimizing waste and promoting sustainable practices.
We have an established, talented and hard-working restaurant team and are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our fast-paced environment. This role incorporates a combination of restaurant services and catering for our upcoming wedding season.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about taking our guests on a culinary journey created by produce accessed from the Estate and kitchen gardens, while minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Head Chef, you will be responsible for
- Preparing, cooking and plating a diverse range of dishes with a focus on maximizing ingredient use.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment
- Implementing our existing zero-waste strategies, using creative methods to minimize waste.
- Collaborating with our team to create a seasonal, sustainable food offering while also focusing on preservation of local and organic ingredients, many of which are grown on the Coriole Estate.
- Contribute to composting efforts, ensuring proper sorting and management of organic waste with the kitchen team
- Assist with managing inventory levels and correct methods of food storage.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a fast-paced kitchen
- Creative problem-solving skills and clear communication.
- Ability to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a section and assisting with other required tasks to execute weddings and events.
- Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in sustainable cooking.
