Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Coopers Stadium, and The Drive, delivering high-quality food for a range of events, including concessions catering, corporate suites, functions, and backstage hospitality.
About the Role:
As a Chef de Partie, you will:
  • Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in food preparation and service.
  • Assist with event-based retail catering, ensuring timely and high-quality food production.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff in the kitchen.
  • Take charge of concessions catering, including planning and execution.
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP requirements.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to menu planning and development.
  • Ensure food storage and stock rotation are managed efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated professional with:
  • A Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including evenings and weekends.
  • A current SA driver’s license (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience with retail/event catering is highly regarded.
