Your day to day
- Prepares, cooks and serves food
- Monitor routine workplace operations
- Assist in breaking down and setting up various kitchen stations
- Prepare kitchen for the restaurant and banqueting
- Store stock in compliance with set food safety standards
- Keeping everything spotless to meet or beat local cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Adhere to all regulations in respect of Health and safety, hygiene, guest safety, fire regulations and emergency procedures
- Pitching in with washing up and other kitchen tasks as needed
What we need from you
- Qualifications in Commercial Coolery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider
- Proven hospitality Kitchen experience
- Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling
- Good reading, writing and basic maths
- Flexability with night, weekend and public holiday shifts
- Communication skills – ability to develop rapport within a short time frame
- Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Display a commitment to our guests to consistently maintain a high level of quality at all times
