About the Role: Bene Aged Care is seeking appropriately skilled and qualified candidates to fulfil the casual roles of Support & Domestic Workers for Community Services.

We currently have multiple positions available in our North, East, South and West In-home support teams.

This role is a rewarding and in demand job which allows you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our vulnerable older people through the following responsibilities:

  • Personal Care (only support workers)
  • Household cleaning – dusting, mopping & vacuuming
  • Laundry
  • Meal preparation
  • Transport – medical appts & shopping
  • Social support inc outings
  • Promote quality of life and personal fulfilment
  • Maintain effective relationships with consumers, their families and community service organisations

At Bene we value our Community Services team and pay above award rates plus an additional benefit of travel time between consumers. Generous salary sacrifice options are available as a staff member of a  ‘not for profit’ organisation. Other conditions will be based on the Social, Community, Home  Care and Disability Services Industry Award.

About You: You will be a bright, outgoing, committed, skilled and caring individual that displays empathy for the older members of our community.   • Certificate in Community Services, Individual Support or a like qualification (where applicable)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Reliability & demonstrated commitment
  • National Police Clearance
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Roadworthy & insured vehicle
  • COVID and seasonal flu vaccinations
