About the role

We are seeking a full-time cook to join the Oky Food Family Trust’ team in Tranmere SA 5073. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that delight our customers and align with the company’s commitment to serving delicious and nutritious food. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the local hospitality industry.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes to our high standards
• Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet health and safety regulations
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development to continuously improve our offerings
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a seamless dining experience for our customers

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• A keen eye for detail and presentation
• The ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented setting
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
