The Role

We are currently recruiting for our Neighbourhood Teams in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide (Seaford, Brighton and Mount Compass) The suitable candidate MUST be available for the following shifts:

Monday Night 7 pm – 10.30 pm

Tuesday 11 am – 2.30 pm and 3 pm – 7 pm

Thursday 3 pm – 7 pm

Potential shift fortnightly on a Saturday 10 am – 4 pm

Day to day duties may include (but are not limited to)

  • Assisting with life skills like cleaning, cooking, and budgeting
  • Transporting clients to appointments or shopping
  • Building client self-confidence and social participation
  • Promoting independence and well-being
  • Personal care and manual handling
  • Medical administration (if qualified)
  • Administrative tasks and NDIS compliance

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and bubbly
  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Strong in communication and relationship-building
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries
  • Trained in behaviours of concern, first aid, epilepsy, diabetes and cooking (desirable)
  • Experienced in personal care and managing challenging behaviours (desirable)

Salary: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required upon commencement)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (Preferred)
