Disability Support Worker

Support Workers are required for an exclusive opportunity to join a dedicated team.

McArthur Community Care was established in 2015 from a deep desire to provide trusted, tailored, and ongoing services to people who live with a disability.

We are an NDIS registered service provider specialising in delivering quality, individualised and flexible support services to people living with a disability.

We are seeking experienced, energetic, creative, playful, and proactive Disability Support Workers for our client that resides in the southern suburbs with his mother. Our client has several long-standing Support Workers and is seeking additional workers to fulfill hours across a 24/7 roster.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be required to assist in all aspects of support by engaging and connecting with a genuine gentleness and kind disposition.

Supports required are,

• All aspects of Personal Care, including showering, grooming, etc.
• Skills Development – physical coordination, music, indoor sport and having fun in a safe environment
• Transport – to and from activities and appointments (Client’s accessible vehicle)
• High Complex Care – seizure management.

Suitable Applicants MUST Have,

• Relevant disability industry experience at least 1year
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• NDIS Worker Check
• Current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling Certificates
• A clear driving history and full licence
• Exceptional communication, comprehension and listening skills
• A fun, person-centred disposition with the ability to commit to an ongoing roster
