Disability Support Worker

Complete Care Accommodation is a leading provider of Respite Care and Short-Term Accommodation for NDIS participants. We assist our clients to meet their goals by engaging in community-based activities, while allowing their regular carers and informal supports to take a well needed break.

About the role:
We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers to provide respite care for our diverse range of clients. Daily tasks vary greatly depending on the needs and care plan of the individual participant. We are seeking passionate, friendly and empathetic staff to support our clients.

No experience necessary:

We are willing to pay for a Disability Skillset Training Program for the right candidates with the attitude, integrity and interpersonal skills to excel in this position. The training includes a First Aid certificate and can be completed in as little as 2 weeks.

Duties:

• Personal Care
• Community Access and Transportation
• Assist clients to participate in community-based activities
• Check clients in and out from their respite accommodation
• Help clients with food shopping, cooking and cleaning
• Social support

About you:

• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Passionate about supporting NDIS participants independence
• Reliable, honest and compassionate
• Willing to apply for a National Police Clearance, NDIS worker check and working with children check
