Disability Support Workers

We are looking for  experienced support workers to join our team and work in SIL and community based settings all throughout numerous locations around Adelaide.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Support the development of daily living skills and capacity for self-care
  • Provide support to work towards individual goals
  • Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community
  • Providing timely and accurate case notes
  • Effectively advocate the views of the young people
  • Participate in team meetings, reflective practice and supervision, debriefing and various support activities
  • Provide personal care and communication support for a child, teenager.
  • Assist with emotional regulation, positive behaviour support, and implementation of care plans.
  • Support the client (child, teenager, adults) in the community and during therapy appointments.
  • Facilitate and encourage positive social interactions and engagement in activities.

You will have the following credentials: 

  • Cert III, Cert IV (or higher) Individual / Disability Support (Or a related qualification)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or DCSI Disability Screening
  • Provide First Aid (must be within 3 years of date of issue)
  • CPR (must be within 12 months of date of issue)
  • South Australian Driver’s License, comprehensive vehicle insurance and a safe, reliable vehicle.
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
