About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will collaborate with participants, their primary caregivers, and other support professionals to assist them in achieving their individual NDIS goals. This includes providing assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation. Your approach will always be person-centred, focusing on the participant’s needs and goals as outlined in their NDIS plan.
While prior experience as a Disability Support Worker is essential, we provide participant-focused training to ensure you are equipped to deliver high-quality, individualised support.
Key responsibilities
Support our participants to develop and maintain independence in all aspects of daily living – inclusive of personal care, health, and personal hygiene as well as domestic duties such as meal preparation, light cleaning duties and other activities. You may also be required to accompany participants during therapy, medical appointments and during social and community participation and follow the participants guidelines in relation to your involvement in these areas. Apply key strategies as directed by allied health and medical professionals.
About You

- Are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Are confident and capable in providing personal care, including continence support and other daily living assistance.
- Have basic computer skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities to meet NDIS reporting standards.
Qualifications/clearances
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Driver’s Licence and Vehicle: Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable, well-maintained vehicle.
- Clearances: Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance.
- Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent) or be in the process of completing this qualification.
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module, Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals, Supporting Effective Communication, and other relevant NDIS training.
- First Aid and CPR: Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Manual Handling: Hold a current Manual Handling certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.
- Medication Administration: Hold a current Medication Administration certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.
- Experience: Have prior experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, or challenging behaviours.
