Disability Support Worker – Adelaide CBD & Hyde Park

Are you a compassionate and skilled FEMALE Disability Support Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional with a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) to join our team.

About the Role:
You will be providing essential care and support to clients with complex needs in Lights Square, Adelaide CBD, and Hyde Park, Unley Road. The role includes personal care, medication assistance, transfers, and working with clients requiring complex bowel care (including stoma, catheter, and enemas).

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Manual handling, hoisting, and transfers
• Medication assistance
• Incontinence management and personal care
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and challenging situations
• Problem-solving skills and initiative
• Proficiency in using different systems and computers
• Understanding of professional boundaries
• Comfortable working with clients who have pets (training provided)

Shifts
1. Lights Square, Adelaide CBD

• Tuesday (weekly) – 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM (1:1 support)
• Wednesday (weekly) – 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM (1:1 support)
• Concierge Service (Monday – Sunday): Passive sleepover 6:00pm to 8:00am (1 hour active from 2:00am to 3:00am)

2. Hyde Park, Unley Road

• Morning Shift (7 days a week): 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• Evening Shift (7 days a week): 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
