About the Role

You will assist the customer to build their capacity and assist in achievement life goals. This may include building independent living skills, time management, decision making skills and supporting their choice and control. Assist our customers to live their life how they want to live it in a person centred environment.

Casual and Part-Time Positions Available.

To be considered, you will possess demonstrated experience in a similar role, you will have no trouble engaging, building, and maintaining great relationships with customers, customers families, and colleagues. You will also have a proactive and positive attitude and exceptional communication skills.

Must Haves

  • Flexibility for shifts at varying times and lengths
  • COVID-19 Vaccination record (Mandatory from 26.11.2021)
  • Drivers Licence
  • Vehicle Registration and Comprehensive Insurance Details

Required Knowledge

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
  • NDIS Workforce Capability Framework

Required Clearances

  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • Working with Children Check

Desired Qualifications and Experiences

  • Lived Experience
  • Certificate III and Relevant Industry Experience
  • Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health or Equivalent

Certificates, Identifications and Licences

  • Child Safe Training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • 100 Points of Identification will be required at time of interview
