About the role

In your new role as Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will work alongside other Supervisors and assist the Restaurant Manager with overseeing the day to day operations of the service team in the Restaurant, Bar and In Room Dining. You will be responsible for engaging with our guests and supporting the team with daily activities, and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. You will enjoy working as part of a team on a rotating roster, in a fast-paced environment and have a genuine passion for food, wine and providing exceptional customer service.


  • Support and Supervise the daily operations ensuring the running of a smooth shift
  • Ensure that brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded
  • Maintain your knowledge and stay abreast of current restaurant and bar trends
  • Evaluate customer satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Resolve conflicts and issues where necessary
  • Train and develop team members
  • Ensure your team maintains a professional manner and are up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities
  • Provide service in line with the Hilton Brand Service Standards
  • Understand menu content and brief the team accordingly
  • Deal with guest enquiries in an efficient and professional manner


  • Experience in a Food and Beverage Supervisory/Team Leader role, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Highly developed customer service skills coupled with passion and extensive knowledge of food & wine
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and apply good judgement, whilst demonstrating exceptional organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Fluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both in person and over the telephone
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
