About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Hospitability Coordinator we are currently recruiting for a Food Services Assistant / Housekeeping to join our team on a permanent part time basis.  The successful candidate must be able to work all or any of the following.

Week 1

Monday AM: 0630-1430
Monday PM: 1030-1830
Tuesday: 0630-1430
Thursday: 1030-1830
Friday: 1030-1830

Week 2

Monday AM: 0630-1430
Monday PM: 1030-1830
Tuesday AM: 0630-1430
Friday PM: 1030-1830

Food Services Assistant role:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to our residents
  • Dishwashing, clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents rooms
  • Delivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residents
  • Monitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issues

To be successful you must demonstrate the following:

  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
  • Aged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & Laundry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
  • Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems and equipment
  • Housekeeping experience
  • Current Flu Vaccination – mandatory
  • COVID + Booster vaccination mandatory
