We are a specialist family law, wills and estates law firm located in the city. We require a part-time Legal Administration Assistant to work 3 days per week.

We are seeking an Assistant who:

  • is motivated and driven and can work both autonomously and as a team player;
  • has time management, organisational, and multitasking skills;
  • has an ability to communicate clearly and concisely;
  • has attention to detail;
  • is able to work under pressure;
  • can learn new skills quickly;
  • can manage competing priorities; and
  • presents in a professional manner.

Word processing skills are essential and experience in a legal office is preferable but not essential. Knowledge of LEAP Practice Management Software would be an advantage.

The role will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Audio typing;
  • Preparing family law documents and correspondence;
  • Creating and updating briefs;
  • General reception duties including answering incoming telephone calls and taking messages;
  • Diary management using Outlook;
  • Filing Court documents;
  • File management;
  • Rounds duties; and
  • Time entry.
