Yummy Snack Foods is 100% Australian family owned and operated. Their head office is located in Adelaide; however, they operate a distribution centre in Brisbane, and also have sales staff in Sydney, Melbourne and Western Australia. The range “Yummy Fruit & Nut” was established to bring a healthy selection of nuts, dried fruits, snacks, mixes, organic, health lines, chocolate and confectionary products to the consumer through their accredited operations. They pride themselves on having a wide range of options that cater to most consumers. An opportunity now exists for an experienced Office Administrator / Personal Assistant to join their team, on a permanent full-time or part time (depending on candidate) basis.

The Role

This role would suit someone who enjoys being closely involved in the day-to-day operations, thrives on a variety of tasks, and takes pride in being highly organised. In addition, your duties will be varied and will include:

  • Provide executive level support to the Managing Director, including, diary, appointment management and travel management
  • Manage incoming response via email and phone in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Management of all office systems, policies, records, and procedures in an orderly and compliant manner
  • Attend meetings and act as a clerical figure to the Managing Director
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and customers on operational matters
  • Ensuring promotions, pricing and food labelling is compliant with relevant standards
  • Managing and ordering of stock as required
  • Assist with basic finance duties including Accounts Receivable and following up on customer payments
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the business as required

About You

  • Experience working in a fast paced, office environment prioritising numerous tasks and stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of using initiative to problem solve and challenge existing systems and processes
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively working in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible in taking on varied accounts and administrative tasks as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Package (excel, word, outlook)
  • Experience with MYOB Advanced is desirable but not essential
