We are seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our administration team providing assistance to our clients and our staff at our head office in the CBD.

Apart from providing a professional and friendly face at our reception counter, your tasks will include:

  • Answering and directing phone calls to Tonkin staff members in Adelaide and our other offices
  • Taking detailed messages for our team in relation to current projects
  • Assist with travel and training bookings
  • Booking couriers for local and interstate deliveries
  • Manage incoming and outgoing postal needs
  • Provide support for the coordination of meetings including the booking and preparation of meeting rooms and any requirements
  • Assisting with upkeep and ordering of office and kitchen supplies
  • Assisting with arrangements for catering for in-house office
  • Performing other ad-hoc tasks for the general office including photocopying, scanning and laminating
  • Assist with other administration support to support our project leaders

About you:

As the first point of contact, you will ideally have previous experience as a Receptionist with strong administration skills. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working within a team. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly, approachable and reliable
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Is able to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Has skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Has well-developed and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to provide the best quality service to all staff and clients
  • Is self-motivated coupled with a can-do attitude
  • Is willing to take on tasks as and when needed

Job location:

This role is based at Tonkin’s state-of-the-art head office in Adelaide’s CBD.
