We are a busy and successful legal practice of 10 people (5 lawyers, a conveyancer and 4 support staff).

We have just celebrated our 27th anniversary.  We have an excellent reputation with our clients and other lawyers and conveyancers.  We are a great team that all get on well, care for each other and enjoy coming to work.

Our offices are located at 213 Payneham Road St Peters which is about 4 km (10 mins) North East of the Adelaide GPO.  Our offices are meticulously clean, well organised and very well appointed.   Our equipment and software is excellent and everyone is very comfortable.  The coffee is great and the car-parking is free and on-site.

We are looking for a full-time (or nearly full-time) Receptionist who is intelligent, happy and keen to be our ‘front-of-house’.  Ideally we would like someone with experience working in a legal office but we will provide full training to the right person.  We can offer flexible hours for someone juggling family commitments.

The position will primarily be that of receptionist to answer our phones and to greet our clients but it will also include some dictation typing, office administration and legal secretarial duties.

We use the Microsoft suite of programs, PCLaw for firm and trust accounting and Amicus Attorney (like a legal version of Outlook) as our database and calendar management software.  They are easy to use and we will help you learn everything you need to know if you haven’t used these before.

The position is available immediately.

It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to have their own transport to help with banking and the filing of documents at the Courts and other offices.
