About the role

Portside Mitsubishi is seeking an experienced Receptionist / Admin Clerk to join our dynamic team in Albert Park, SA. This full-time role is an integral part of our office operations, providing a warm and efficient first point of contact for our customers and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Receive calls and help with customer enquiries.
  • Greet customers and provide good customer service.
  • Processing supplier account application requirements
  • Processing invoices with PO’s, correct accounting codes, authorisations etc
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements and address any discrepancies.
  • Raise payments – EFT.
  • Respond to account queries promptly.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments, and follow up with clients via phone, email or mail to ensure timely collections.
  • Follow up outstanding items with customers and supplier.

What we’re looking for

  • Reception / Clerical / Customer Service Experience
  • Ability to provide superior quality customer service.
  • Friendly professional manner
  • Answer the phones confidently and be able to direct calls and take correct messages.
  • Have effective time management skills.
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Proven experience in processing invoices and payments
  • Experience in a high-volume account’s environment
  • The ability to reconcile creditors & debtors within a prompt manner.
  • Have a sound understanding of accounting processes.
  • Be computer literate along with an excellent telephone manner.
