An opportunity has presented itself for a talented Sous Chef to join our team at the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club. If you thrive in a team environment, consistently deliver to the highest quality, are open to new challenges, and have a positive can-do attitude then we’d love to have you on our team!

We are seeking a full-time Sous Chef to work alongside our amazing Head Chef and our dynamic, hard-working team, to continue improving our already high standard of food and presentation.

You will have a proven track record in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-faceted environment and possess the following skills.

  • minimum trade qualifications in certificate 3 (commercial cookery)
  • meticulous attention to detail
  • the ability to control the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • a professional attitude and a passion for food
  • menu development for a la carte dining, functions, and events
  • be a clear communicator
  • sound leadership and motivational skills
  • a clear understanding of a la carte and function operations
  • positive outlook and eagerness to expand their knowledge and skills
  • you will have a can-do attitude, a guest-first mindset, and a desire to deliver a positive and memorable experience to all our customers.
  • adhere to all relevant health and safety and food safety standards
