Want to develop your practical skills and learn the basics for

a position within the cleaning sector? Then this course could be for you.

This is a hands-on course that takes you through the basics including:

• How to clean rooms and bathrooms

• How to apply hygiene and infection control

• Delivering effective client service

• How to follow workplace safety practices

While undertaking this Cleaning Short course you will complete the following units of training:

  • Clean rooms furniture and fittings
  • Clean and maintain amenities
  • Provide effective client service
  • Apply infection prevention and control procedures to own work activities
  • Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • Participate in safe food handling practice

Once you have completed this course there are various employment areas that you could apply to work in, including housekeeping, commercial cleaning, domestic cleaning, kitchen work and even customer service.
