Universal Design for Learning
At HITsa, we are committed to making learning accessible and inclusive for every student. One of the ways we do this is by using the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
UDL is a proactive approach that helps us plan our training, assessment and support so that more learners can participate fully—right from the start. It helps remove common barriers to learning, creates a greater sense of belonging in the classroom and can also reduce the need for separate or individual adjustments.
While UDL goes a long way in supporting all learners, we understand that some students will still need extra support. Individualised help and reasonable adjustments are always available to make sure everyone has an equal chance to succeed. The benefits that this brings to you as a student include: Realistic simulated work environments for assessments that allow you to demonstrate the skills required by the industry
