It’s about a lot more than how to make Espresso.
It’s about a lot more than how to make Espresso.
At the recent Murraylands Jobs, Skills and Career Showcase, Business Manager Jo had the opportunity to catch up with some of our previous project partners. It was especially great to catch up with the team from Headspace Murray Bridge, who we worked with earlier in the year to bring together a bespoke espresso program. It is well known that the benefits of training often extend past the expected learning outcomes of a simple unit of competency. Jo was told about how, in addition to having a great time, and gaining confidence in their own skills, a number of participants have transitioned into employment. Having completed SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety meant they had transferrable skills, required by employers which has opened doors to new opportunities.
The team mentioned how much fun their clients had doing the training with HITsa – we look forward to working with them again soon and encourage anyone looking to run a similar program to contact us to put together a proposal.
