Welcome Alison
We’re excited to welcome Alison Brown to the HITsa team in her new role as Work Placement Support Coordinator. Alison is already making a great impact by helping our Individual Support and Early Childhood Education and Care students get the most out of their industry placements.
Although based at our Clarence Gardens site, Alison is often out and about—visiting students, providing support, and conducting assessments as they complete their placement hours.
We recently sat down with Alison to learn more about her background and what she brings to the role…
What’s the best piece of (job) advice you’ve ever received?
ABC, Assume nothing, Believe nothing and Check everything.
Three things you love doing?
Listening to all genre’s of music
Playing the guitar.
Laughing with my children about the hilarious behaviour of our 2 Cats and Kelpie.
Your least fave things?
Coriander hidden in my food.
Best thing about working at HITsa?
Best thing about working at HITsa is the supportive workplace environment and being surrounded by an inspiring group of people.
