Meet HITsa’s Head Trainer
Welcome Renee
HITsa is pleased to welcome Renee as it’s Lead Trainer across all locations!
Renee’s role will focus on the quality and consistency of training delivery, specifically in the Individual Support and Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications. Renee also helps to create a supportive and collaborative environment for both trainers and students, whilst contributing to our compliance with RTO and industry standards.
We did a quick Q+A to introduce you all to Renee, be sure to say hello when you see her at your next class.
What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently?
The most interesting thing I’ve learned recently is that only humans have chins.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
If I was given the choice to have a superpower, I think I would choose the power of the heart ring in Captain Planet. Cringeworthy? Possibly… but I like the idea that I could prevent war, ease pain for the people who suffer in the name of something someone else believes in. The heart ring gives it’s holder the power of telepathy and empathy – the combination gives the wearer an ability to feel what others are feeling and also project feelings towards another as well as communicate with people, spirits and animals.
What is the best piece of (job) advice you’ve ever received?
If you always do what you have always done, then you will always have what you have always got.
If you could time travel, which era would you visit and why?
The 1960’s. I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair!
Three things you love doing?
Spending time with loved ones, camping, travelling and laughing. Laughter heals the soul! I like short walks on the beach (I’m not an athlete and get puffed easily)!
Your least favourite things?
Over promising, under delivering and spicy foods.
Best thing about working at HITsa?
The people! I have already met staff and students that I believe to be genuinely good people. Surround yourself with good people and the good vibes keep growing.
