Meet the Trainer
Meet the Trainer
Nicole has been a trainer at HITsa for many years.
Where were you born:
I was born right here in Adelaide at the old Queen Victoria Hospital.
Tell us about your family:
Being from European heritage, I have a very big family who are situated all over the world and interstate. Here in Adelaide, I live with my husband and 3 children in the western suburbs.
If you had to pick one strength you bring to the team, what would that be:
I’m very passionate about training to a high standard, always striving to bring my best self to work and especially for my students. It’s really a very rewarding experience to have students who you see grow and develop through their apprenticeship or traineeships and complete their studies with skills, abilities, and confidence in their chosen industry.
What have you taught previously:
I teach cookery, hospitality, business, and leadership as well as RSA and coffee training.
What is your proudest achievement:
My proudest achievement is becoming a mum and raising my beautiful girls and stepson. A job with endless hours, sweat and (sometimes) tears but the most rewarding, fulfilling, and joyous thing I’ve ever done.
Being sworn into council as a councillor for City I Charles Sturt West Woodville Ward.
This, being my very first experience with running in council elections I have had to learn very quickly about the election process and all that is involved. I am so proud, that my husband can be proud of his wife, that my children can be proud of their Mum, as she had an idea, put in the hard work and won.
