Shout-out to our students for completing another exciting course at our Salisbury Site

Hands-on short courses at HITsa

A big shout-out to the students who recently completed Apply basic principles and practices of infection prevention and control at our Salisbury site!

This nationally recognised unit was delivered as part of ongoing training in the Certificate III in Individual Support and the Preparing to Work in Community Services and Health Skill Set – two great pathways into care and support roles.

Students got hands-on with real-world infection control procedures, from proper hand hygiene and PPE use to preventing the spread of infection – all essential skills in health and community settings.

For those who are considering a career in care, the Preparing to Work in Community Services and Health Skill Set is a great way to get started. It covers core areas like communication, diversity, safe work practices and infection control  – and can open doors to further study or entry-level work.
