Pre-Employment at the Port

HITsa proudly teamed up with The Port Admiral Hotel and SYC Disability Employment Services to deliver a Hospitality Pre-Employment program over 2 weeks.

Throughout the program, all participants were put through their paces to prepare them for working in the industry when the Port Admiral Hotel re-opened under new management on Monday 1 May.

The participants learnt a variety of individual practical skills and how to work in a team – Well done!

A huge thank you to Port Adelaide/Enfield Mayor Claire Boan for taking the time to be involved in this program, as well as sharing with the students the heritage and importance of working in such a historic venue in the Port Adelaide area.
