Thomas More College / Future Pathways Week
Future Pathways
Thomas More College invited HITsa to be part of their Future Pathways Week.
These visits enable young people to have informal 1:1 discussions about the latest courses on offer that can help make their decisions about future careers and help decide what life beyond school could look like.
It was a very successful morning where students realised that studying a Certificate III in Year 10/11 and 12, would help them attain their SACE credits and provide the opportunity to go out in the community and experience work placement firsthand in their desired field.
Future Pathways is designed to encourage students of all year levels to purposefully develop a pathway towards study and employment in their life beyond school. Completing courses midway through Secondary School supports students to decipher which pathway to pursue, enabling successful outcomes.

Jeanette’s role is to arrange and support students during their Work Placement component of their Individual Support qualifications.
