Who We Are

Our Story

Two women sitting at a table in a classroom or training room, engaged in conversation. One woman is wearing a yellow sweater and the other is wearing a gray shirt, smiling and talking.

For more than 20 years, we’ve walked alongside people through important life transitions, helping thousands of South Australians build skills, believe in themselves and step confidently into work.

We combine strong employer engagement with dedicated student support. Our close industry relationships ensure relevance, while our personalised approach ensures every learner feels guided, connected and supported.

Today, HITsa is a leading South Australian Registered Training Organisation, known for integrity, care and real results. We deliver training across four metropolitan and regional sites, making education accessible to communities across South Australia.

Training isn’t just a service to us. It’s a partnership. Because when training is done well, it doesn’t just change careers…it changes lives.

The belief behind our work

  • Our vision

To be South Australia’s most trusted private training provider, empowering people with the skills, confidence and pathways they need to flourish in work and life.

  • Our purpose

To prepare people for real work by aligning training with industry demand, whilst supporting learners from enrolment to employment.

Our values

Values That Shape Our Work

  • Icon of a sad face inside a circle, representing sadness or disappointment.

    Human Centred

Every interaction leaves a mark. We act with respect, dignity and kindness, because real outcomes start with how people are treated.

  • Icon of a briefcase with three people below it

    Industry Led

Relevance is non-negotiable. We align everything we do with real industry demand, real employers and real jobs.

  • An icon of a target with concentric circles and an arrow hitting the bullseye.

    Think Boldly

Safe thinking limits progress. We challenge defaults, test ideas and explore better ways to work.

  • Outline icon of a person speaking with a speech bubble containing lines of text.

    Say It. Do It.

Our word is our bond. We commit carefully and follow through completely, because credibility is earned through action.

    Always Improving

Good enough isn’t enough. We reflect, learn and raise the bar, using feedback, evidence and experience to get better every time.

Our guiding principles: 5 powerful ‘truths’ that guide our work

These guiding principles reflect the wisdom we’ve gained through experience. They shape how we design and deliver training that leads to meaningful employment.

1) Confidence grows through capability.

Belief deepens when people can do something they couldn’t do before. Skill is often the bridge between doubt and self-assurance.

2) Support turns effort into momentum.

People rarely succeed alone. Guidance, encouragement and accountability transform effort into progress

3) People learn best when they feel safe.

Growth requires space to try, stumble and recover. Psychological safety is the soil where learning takes root.

4) Learning changes identity.

When people learn, they don’t just gain knowledge, they see themselves differently. That shift often matters more than the skill itself.

5) Growth is rarely linear.

Setbacks are part of progress, not proof of failure. Resilience is learned by continuing anyway

Our purposeful pledge

We make a clear commitment to every student. This is what you can expect from us.
