The HITsa Charitable Fund reflects our belief that everyone deserves opportunity, no matter their circumstances.
For more than 20 years, the Fund has supported South Australian charities and community organisations that help people overcome barriers to education, employment and community life. It’s one of the ways HITsa gives back and creates a positive impact beyond the classroom.

2025 Donation Recipients
Each year, the HITsa Charitable Fund works with South Australian organisations that are making a real difference in their communities. In 2025, our chosen charities are providing hands-on support, building stronger connections, and creating more opportunities for people and families experiencing hardship.

Based in the Limestone Coast, Four Reasons Why is a grassroots charity supporting vulnerable individuals and families through a range of practical and community-driven initiatives. Their work includes emergency assistance, youth engagement programs, school holiday activities, essential goods distribution and community events that foster connection and inclusion. By addressing immediate needs while strengthening local networks of care, Four Reasons Why helps families navigate crises and rebuild stability.

EmployCare is a volunteer-led not-for-profit providing personalised career counselling and development services to people experiencing barriers to employment. Working with individuals affected by disability, long-term unemployment, mental health challenges and social disadvantage, EmployCare offers tailored support including career planning, resume development, interview preparation and confidence-building coaching. Their work focuses not just on job placement, but on restoring self-belief and long-term employability.

Adelaide City Care is a public benevolent organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged members of the community, including migrants, refugees and individuals experiencing hardship. Their programs provide employment seminars, English language classes, settlement assistance, community connection activities and practical support services. By addressing both social and economic participation, Adelaide City Care helps individuals integrate into community life and build sustainable pathways forward.

Food on the Table is a community-driven initiative committed to addressing food insecurity across South Australia. Through the provision of free, nutritious meals, the organisation supports individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship or social isolation. Beyond meals, their work fosters dignity, connection and a sense of belonging for those who may otherwise feel marginalised. Their programs respond to immediate needs while strengthening community care networks.

RufUS SA supports individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness or domestic violence by providing essential household goods and furniture. By equipping people with the practical items needed to establish a safe and stable home environment, RufUS plays a critical role in helping individuals rebuild their lives with dignity. Their support often marks a turning point, creating the foundation for long-term stability and independence.

The MCCSA Jobs Café is an employment-focused initiative offering free community events designed to connect job seekers with practical support and local employers. Through networking opportunities, career workshops, resume assistance and one-on-one mentoring, Jobs Café helps participants build confidence, expand professional networks and strengthen their employability. The initiative creates a welcoming environment where people can access guidance and opportunity without barriers.

The Women’s Community Centre SA is a long-standing organisation run by women, for women. It provides safe and inclusive spaces where women can access skills development programs, wellbeing workshops, community events and support services. The Centre fosters social inclusion, confidence and independence, particularly for women experiencing isolation, financial hardship or personal transition. Its programs strengthen both individual resilience and community connection.
