Basic Gaming Training (Provide responsible gambling services & Attend Gaming Machines) is a mandatory requirement for all gaming employees commencing work who have not previously undertaken gaming training.
This course is an approved training course through Consumer and Business Services (CBS), in order for it to be recognised within South Australia.

provide responsible service of gambling
provide information and assistance to customers about gambling
follow procedures for self-exclusion requests in accordance with legislation, industry/enterprise policy
and confidentiality/privacy requirements
provide information on available support services in accordance with confidentiality/privacy
requirements, industry/enterprise and legislative requirements
SITHGAM002 Attend gaming machines
advise customers on games and gaming activities
operate and maintain gaming machines
monitor security of gaming areas
make gaming machine payouts
operate and maintain coin dispensing equipment
All gaming managers must complete Advanced Gaming within three months of appointment.
Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a statement of attainment listing the following units of Nationally Recognised Training
SITHGAM001 Provide Responsible Gambling Services
SITHGAM002 Attend Gaming Machines
This is a course of training which is recognised as basic gaming under section 10B (1) (b) (i) of the Gaming Machines Act 1992 and meets the requirements of the Consumer and Business Services (CBS).
