HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

Commonly known as Senior First Aid, the Provide First Aid training is designed for people who require the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to an emergency situation requiring first aid.

General Information

Provide First Aid incorporates cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and provide basic emergency life support and is suitable for people in the workplace and members of the public who want training in first aid. Most workplaces require a specific number of people to successfully complete this qualification.

Our training is delivered by paramedics and nurses. The senior first aid qualification remains current for three years during which time a refresher course must be completed annually or CPR.

Course Details

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

Course Duration – 1 day

First Aid Training will take approximately 7 hours to complete.

Participants will complete CPR training in the first 3 hours of the course.

Regional and offsite training course options available.

Training will be conducted at the following sites

Training will include a mix of self-paced theory, practical study and an assessment.

As part of the assessment, participants must be able to perform two minutes of continuous adult CPR on the floor as part of this program.
