The Certificate 3 in Community Services reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services.
Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
This qualification is offered through a traineeship arrangement
This training is delivered over a nominal term of 12 months full time or part time equivalent (a work placement of 2 weeks (76 hours) will be organised if participant is not working in industry)
This course is funded by the State Government through the Subsidised Training List (eligibility criteria applies). If eligible for subsidised training, a non-refundable $200 student co-contribution is payable on enrolment
Fee for Service available for those not eligible for Government funded training
