Certificate 3 in Community Services

The Certificate 3 in Community Services reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services.
Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.

This qualification is offered through a traineeship arrangement

Government Funded Training
  • This training is delivered over a nominal term of 12 months full time or part time equivalent (a work placement of 2 weeks (76 hours) will be organised if participant is not working in industry)

  • This course is funded by the State Government through the Subsidised Training List (eligibility criteria applies). If eligible for subsidised training, a non-refundable $200 student co-contribution is payable on enrolment

  • Fee for Service available for those not eligible for Government funded training
