Course Details
CHC32015 – Certificate III in Community Services
This training is offered through a rolling intake therefore students can commence at any time.
Training is delivered over a nominal term of 12 months full-time or part-time equivalent. A timetable will be developed for each trainee as determined by the employer and trainee.
Face-to-face training will be conducted at the following sites
HITsa Training and Employment have an operational skill centre to allow participants to practice within a safe environment prior to work placement.
Training will include a mix of theory and practical study.
All participants completing this course will be encouraged to complete a minimum of 80 hours work placement.
HITsa will arrange suitable work placement with one of our industry partners, once the participant has completed all face-to-face training requirements.
Work placement will give the participant the opportunity to put training into practice in an employment setting, assisting the transition to employment.
Assessment will include a combination of theory and practical observation (skill centre and work placement).
All course materials including work placement uniform will be provided to the student and access to the internet will be required for self-paced and online activities.
Participants successfully completing all units of training and work placement will be issued with the nationally recognised qualification CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services
Participants that do not complete the full qualification will be issued with an Academic Transcript.
