Bodega Wine Bar is a European-style wine and cocktail bar and Bottle shop opening soon in the heart of McLaren Vale.

We are currently looking for a Chef to head up our kitchen and oversee our modern Australian Bites menu, reporting to the Exec Chef.

If you’ve had experience in similar role or are a Sous Chef looking to move into a leadership role, then perhaps this position is right for you!!!

We are open Wednesday – Saturday evenings and ‘lunch’ service on Saturday & Sunday.

We are looking for  someone who has :

  • Great energy and a passion for hospitality
  • Positive Professional attitude but know how to have fun while working
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to experiment and try new dishes
  • Commitment to hygiene, food safety and work health & safety
  • Sound understanding of rosters, ordering and stock control

What we’re offering:

  • Full-time position (4 nights & 2 days)
  • Salary package of $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience) + Superannuation.
